Description:
Terra Form is an "anti-citybuilder". Your goal is to prevent a civilization from spreading and destroying the planet.
Destroy hostile buildings and restore life to the devastated landscape before the ecosystem collapses.
This game was created in less than 48 hours for the GMTK Jam 2023.
Controls:
LMB - Select and place abilities
Mouse Wheel - Rotate abilities

v1.2 is the original GMTK jam version
v1.8 has been uploaded after the game jam deadline
v1.8 Changes:
- Player doesn't lose powerful abilities when the destruction level decreases
- Cities spread slower on water tiles
- Restoring abilities are rarer and more powerful (they can be used on both destroyed tiles and cities)
- When all cities have been destroyed player receives only restoring abilities to heal the planet faster
- Two additional cities spawn at random locations at the start of each game
- Added floods (blue exclamation mark)
- Clicking an exclamation mark will remove all other marks on the map
- Added turn counter
- Added protected tiles
- Option to remove abilities

it's surprisingly hard to keep the civilization growth under control.
though as long as you can limited to one half of the map, stalling for good cards is pretty easy. got a win in 120 turns.
it is a fun little game!
i do have some small complains though. it is not possible to deselect a card after you select one, which means ones you clicked a card, you can't use the exclamation marks anymore, since the card click takes priority.
also, the card selection is a bit weird. i always got too many destroy 1X? cards and 1X1 cards, which are pretty useless in most situations since they can only partially delay the expansion by a turn or two without making a real dent in their numbers. you may want to look at the card selection algorithm a bit more.
on another note, i found it strange that the exclamation marks work the opposite of how the cards of the same color work.
